Strawberry & Feta Salad with Pan Fried La Perrière Angus Steak
Ingredients
Strawberries
Freshly shelled garden peas
Rocket
Lettuce
Cabbage
Cucumber
Feta cheese
Olive oil
Rice wine vinegar
Wholegrain mustard
Maple syrup
4 or 5 squished strawberries
2 cloves of fresh garlic
Himalayan mountain salt
Cracked black pepper
Fresh thyme
La Perrière Angus Steaks
COOKING METHOD
Make the dressing by squishing 4/5 strawberries and mixing with a large glug of olive oil, tablespoon of rice wine vinegar, tablespoon maple syrup, tablespoon wholegrain mustard, finely chop & mix in fresh garlic, salt & pepper.
Prepare salad by chopping up cabbage, Lettuce, mix with shelled peas, chopped cucumber, crumble in Feta & chopped strawberries ??
Cook steaks on griddle by getting the griddle as hot as you can, oil the steak not the griddle & cook each steak as you like, we like it rare so only cook on each side for 2 to 4 minutes depending on thickness of your steak, then salt & pepper & rest for 10mins on a cold plate before slicing, adding to salad & drizzling on the dressing!!

We used la Perrière Angus sirloin steaks) but you can use any steak you like as long as it's from @laperriereangusboeuf !!
